Frequently Asked Questions
How do I view my work schedule?
Your current work schedule is available through the “View Work Schedules” Quick Link on the right sidebar. Schedules are published at least one week in advance for most departments. If your schedule is not yet available or you believe there is an error, contact Workforce Management at wfm@myjoyner.com or call (877) 240-9784.
How do I request a shift swap?
Shift swap requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance using the “Submit Shift Swap Requests” Quick Link. Both associates involved in the swap must agree and be eligible to cover each other’s shift. Workforce Management will review the request and confirm approval or denial within 2 hours. Unapproved swaps that result in no-shows are subject to attendance policy.
How do I submit a time off request?
Time off requests are submitted through the “Request Time Off” Quick Link. Submit your request as early as possible, as approval depends on operational coverage needs. High-demand periods such as holidays may have blackout dates. Time off requests are reviewed by Workforce Management in coordination with your manager, and you will receive a response within 2 business days.
How does Workforce Management monitor weather and route conditions?
Workforce Management monitors weather conditions along driver routes across the United States in real time. When significant weather events are detected that could affect driver safety or service delivery, the team proactively notifies affected drivers and operations teams and recommends route or schedule adjustments. Drivers should always follow WFM advisories and contact the team immediately if they encounter unsafe road conditions.
What is the Business Continuity Plan and how does it affect my department?
Joyner’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) outlines how the organization responds operationally to unexpected disruptions such as weather emergencies, system outages, or regional crises. Workforce Management leads BCP execution from a staffing and scheduling perspective — coordinating adjusted schedules, backup staffing, and communication protocols during disruptions. Department heads should review the updated 2026 BCP, available through Workforce Management upon request.
