- Compliance Reviews — Reviews compliance and ethics reports submitted internally, investigates findings, and determines the next appropriate course of action.
- Internal Procedure Reviews — Evaluates existing internal procedures to ensure alignment with current laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct Investigations — Investigates reported incidents and performs random investigations to increase compliance with applicable laws and mitigate misconduct.

How do I report an ethics concern or compliance issue?
Ethics concerns and compliance issues can be reported confidentially through the “File an Ethics Review” Quick Link on the right sidebar or by contacting Compliance Services directly at compliance@myjoyner.com. All reports are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Joyner has a strict non-retaliation policy for all associates who report concerns in good faith.
What types of issues does Compliance Services investigate?
Compliance Services investigates a wide range of concerns including reported ethics violations, policy non-compliance, regulatory breaches, potential misconduct, and internal procedure gaps. The team also conducts random investigations to proactively identify compliance risks before they escalate. All investigations are handled confidentially and professionally.
How do I submit documents for an audit or compliance review?
Audit documentation can be submitted through the “Submit Audit Documentation” Quick Link on the right sidebar. Include the audit reference number if provided, the name of the requesting party, and all relevant supporting documents. For urgent audit requests or large document sets, contact compliance@myjoyner.com directly to coordinate submission.
What is required for the annual compliance training?
All Joyner associates are required to complete annual compliance training by July 31, 2026. The training covers key topics including ethics in the workplace, regulatory requirements in the transportation and logistics industry, reporting obligations, and Joyner’s internal policies. Training is available through Joyner University. Associates who do not complete training by the deadline will be flagged for follow-up by their manager and Compliance Services.
How does Compliance Services help departments stay current with changing laws?
Compliance Services actively monitors changes to local, state, and federal laws that affect Joyner’s operations in the transportation and logistics industry. When changes occur, the team works with Training & Development to update associate training and communicates directly with affected departments. New regulatory requirements are also reflected in updated internal policies and posted in the Policies & SOPs section of this page.
