Freight Services
Flatbed
Hauling open freight that can't fit in a standard trailer — including construction materials, oversized equipment, steel, and building supplies. Ideal for freight that requires top, side, or rear loading.
Dry Van
Enclosed trailer transport for general freight that needs protection from the elements. The most common freight mode — suitable for palletized goods, consumer products, and non-temperature-sensitive cargo.
Reefer
Temperature-controlled refrigerated trailer service for perishables, pharmaceuticals, and any cargo that must maintain a specific temperature range throughout transit.
Dedicated
Dedicated fleet service where Joyner Freight provides exclusive capacity and drivers assigned specifically to a customer’s lanes and freight needs on an ongoing basis.
Heavy Haul
Specialized transportation for oversize and overweight freight that exceeds standard legal limits — requiring permits, route surveys, and specialized equipment.
LTL / Partial
Less-than-truckload service for shipments that don’t fill a full trailer, allowing customers to share trailer space and reduce costs while maintaining reliable transit times.
Specialized Loads
Custom transport solutions for unique or complex freight that doesn’t fit standard categories — including high-value cargo, unusual dimensions, or loads requiring special handling procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions
What freight services does Joyner Freight offer?
Joyner Freight offers seven service types: Flatbed for open freight and oversized loads, Dry Van for enclosed general freight, Reefer for refrigerated and temperature-controlled cargo, Dedicated for exclusive fleet capacity, Heavy Haul for oversize and overweight freight, LTL/Partial for smaller shipments that don’t fill a full trailer, and Specialized Loads for unique freight requirements. Contact the freight team to determine which service best fits your shipment needs.
How do I submit a vehicle pre-inspection report?
Vehicle pre-inspection reports must be submitted before every shift using the “Submit Vehicle Pre-Inspection Form” Quick Link on the right sidebar. The inspection covers vehicle condition, lights, brakes, tires, trailer connections, and safety equipment. Pre-inspections that are not submitted may result in operational restrictions. If you identify a vehicle issue during your inspection, contact Mechanical Services or Driver Services immediately before beginning your route.
How do I submit an ELD log correction?
Electronic Log Device (ELD) corrections must be submitted as soon as an error is identified. Use the “Electronic Log Correction Form” Quick Link on the right sidebar to submit your correction request. Include the date and time of the entry that needs correction, a description of the error, and the correct information. ELD corrections are reviewed by Driver Services and the Compliance team. Do not falsify or alter log entries — submit a correction request instead.
What do I do if my load is damaged or I’m involved in an accident?
For accidents, ensure safety first and call 911 if needed, then contact Driver Services at (877) 240-9784 immediately. For cargo damage, stop and document the damage with photos before moving or touching the freight. Submit an incident, accident, or cargo damage report using the Quick Link on the right sidebar as soon as possible. All incidents must be reported — do not attempt to resolve cargo or accident issues independently without first contacting the Joyner Freight and Driver Services teams.
What are the temperature requirements for Reefer loads?
Temperature requirements for refrigerated (Reefer) loads are specified on the Bill of Lading and load confirmation for each shipment. Drivers must verify and pre-cool the trailer to the required temperature before loading and monitor temperature throughout transit. Any temperature deviation must be reported to the freight team and documented immediately. Refer to the Reefer Load Standards guide available in the Policies & SOPs section for full handling and monitoring protocols.
