Overview

Health Coaching is a program offered by Joyner at no cost to employees. The Health Coaching programs are managed by HREC and delivered by LifeWorks U.S., Inc., the current Employee Assistance and Worklife Program vendor for Joyner.

Health Coaching provides personalized, one-on-one health coaching services in the areas of pre-diabetes, sleep, stress and weight management. Health Coaching allows employees to work with a trained and certified health coach by phone and online. Telephonic coaching sessions are scheduled at the employee’s convenience, and online coaching provides 24-hour access to extensive resources and interactive tools through the employee’s personal webpage.

General Information

Eligibility All U.S. full-time and part-time employees are eligible for the Health Coaching programs.

Confidentiality Health Coaching programs are completely confidential. Joyner contracts with LifeWorks to provide health coaching services. LifeWorks verifies eligibility and keeps case records, but does not share any individual identifying information with Joyner.

Enrollment Eligible employees may contact LifeWorks by phone or online to enroll in the Health Coaching programs.

Managerial Actions

Help employees understand how to access Health Coaching and what services the programs offer

Review and discuss Health Coaching communications when distributed (brochure, poster, news article, etc.)

Human Resources Role

Human Resources is responsible for supporting and promoting the Health Coaching programs when appropriate.

Opportunities include:

Promoting programs during recruiting and onboarding activities

Displaying and distributing Health Coaching materials at well-being fairs and other events

Relaying compliments, concerns or complaints to the Joyner Benefits Center.
