Obligations of Leadership is a framework which focuses on three areas of leadership responsibility. It sets clear expectations for Joyner Transportation & Logistic Services employees in leadership roles. It also helps employees and Logistic Service Providers understand what they can expect from their leadership.

Developing People

Have the right people, in the right place, at the right time with the right skills
  • Know the capabilities of your organization and your leadership team
  • Personally know your high-potential and high-performing employees and ensure they are provided significant opportunities
  • Provide ongoing, continuous feedback so people understand their performance and development needs

  • Personally commit to open, honest, and timely performance and development conversations
  • Promote open dialog through intellectual honesty and constructive questioning
  • Create an environment of commitment, ownership, collaboration, and trust
  • Prioritize issues to keep focus on the right things
  • Establish clear requirements, including timing to meet expectations

Achieving Results

Deliver desired operational and customer focused results
  • Link results to Enterprise goals and standard operating procedures
  • Personally own and contribute to the achievement of goals and objectives established by the Enterprise
  • Define clear goals at the beginning of each period
  • Personally commit to follow-up and creating feedback opportunities
  • Discuss expectations and gain commitment for goals
